Clinical inputs

Questionnaire answers and calculator inputs are processed in your browser. The site does not intentionally send individual answers or calculated scores to its server. Do not include sensitive medical information in emails to us. Your requested page path may nevertheless appear in hosting logs; visiting a page about a condition can itself reveal an interest in that topic.

Technical data

Our hosting provider may process IP addresses, browser details, page URLs, timestamps and security logs to deliver and protect the site. The exact retention period and international transfers depend on the hosting configuration. We do not run a separate product-analytics service in this codebase.

Email inquiries

If you email us, we receive your email address and message to respond to the inquiry. Your email provider and ours may store the communication under their own terms. You can request deletion by emailing the address above, subject to applicable retention obligations.

Advertising (Adsterra)

Clinmetric uses Adsterra advertising scripts in labeled ad placements. The scripts are not loaded until you choose “Accept advertising” in the site’s advertising choices panel. If you reject optional ads, the ad scripts are not loaded. You can change your choice at any time using “Advertising choices” in the footer. We store that choice in browser local storage for up to 180 days.

When an Adsterra script is allowed to run, Adsterra and its advertising partners may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, page URL, and ad interactions. Adsterra describes its own use of cookies and technical data in its Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. The exact identifiers, partners, retention periods, and transfers can depend on the ad campaigns served and Adsterra’s current systems.

Questionnaire answers and calculated scores are processed in your browser and are not intentionally included in ad requests or URLs. We do not load ads on the interactive questionnaire and result pages. A page URL on an informational page can still reveal the topic you are viewing. If you withdraw consent after an ad has loaded, Clinmetric stops loading further ad scripts and removes the current placement; use your browser controls to clear any third-party storage that may already have been set.

Your choices and rights

You may use browser controls to block or clear cookies. Where applicable law gives you rights of access, correction, deletion, objection or consent withdrawal, contact us by email. We do not claim that browser Do Not Track signals automatically change advertising behavior.

Updates

We will update this page when the hosting, analytics, advertising or data-handling setup changes. The effective date above will then be revised.
